牧ゆかり（Yukari MAKI）
東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科修士課程（絵画専攻・油画）修了。顔や人形（ひとがた）の“表層の奥”に潜む緊張感を主題に、愛に根ざした歪みやグロテスクさ、そこから立ち上がる内側の「ひりつく閃光」をすくい上げるように油彩で表現する。歪みは欠陥ではなく感受性の指標と捉え、その光を感知し追い求める人々を通して、不安定さと優しさ／愛を描こうとしている。

Yukari MAKI
Holds an M.F.A. in Oil Painting from the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. Her work explores the tension beneath the visible surface of faces and human-like figures, drawing out love-rooted distortion and a grotesque quality from which an inner “glimmer” emerges. She treats distortion not as a flaw but as a sign of sensitivity, depicting people who sense and pursue that light—expressing instability alongside tenderness and love.
